Our last day of Preschool...What a difference a year makes!

Today was our last day of preschool for this year. It's amazing the difference this year has made. When we started in August Carter couldn't walk, he didn't talk or make any noise (excepting crying of course), he had just started wearing shoes, he cried for two straight hours the first day, and he still took at least two naps a day and now... well let's see... he runs, he doesn't stop talking or squealing or yelling, he waves good bye to me from the door and runs to hug his buddies, and I am lucky if he sleeps two hours in the afternoon. He has really come out of his shell this school year, it's amazing the difference 10 months make!!

This is Carter with Ms. Robin, his teacher.

You can tell how much he loves her!!

Caroline started off this year a little confused about why I was next door with other kids and asking lots of questions (so I thought) and as the year progressed she got over me being next door and waved to me occasionally through the bathroom that joins our rooms and NOW she asks even more questions than I ever dreamed possible. She is very curious and really thrived this school year. Her teacher was fantastic and Caroline hung on every word she said. The did the most amazing art projects and followed an awesome curriculum that Caroline dove right into. We did start the school year with no hair to speak of and we are ending with a pigtail in sight. She still doesn't have very much but hey, at this point I'll take what I can get. It won't be long she's had several trims in the back, so we are making progress!

This is Caroline with Ms. Clarice and puppy. Puppy is the dog they sometimes fed dog bones with their names on to let him know who was at school each day!
